The natural goodness of fish like tuna and salmon comes from their “good fats” – Omega-3s. Omega-3s are polyunsaturated fatty acids which are essential for health throughout all stages of our lives.
There are two main types of omega-3 fatty acids that we need. These are decosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). Seafood, including canned fish, is the richest natural source of Omega-3 fatty acids.
